I have collaborated closely with the faculty and students at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women as part of the GRG-ELGI Digital Innovation Dojo which stands as the pioneering Digital Innovation initiative aligned with ELGi’s strategy to 'Experiment, Start Small & Scale Fast'. In September 2022, we established the GRG-ELGI Digital Innovation Dojo, aiming to offer students the chance to acquire specialized technical skills, engage in solution-oriented projects, and explore various developmental areas. This initiative not only provides valuable industry experience for the participating students but also generates practical solutions and fresh perspectives for ELGi. I have had the honor of being associated with several academic activities associated with PSGR Krishnamaal College for Women. They range from Department of Biotechnology (DBT) sponsored science outreach programs for school children, Department of Science and Technology (DST) funded event on career opportunities for undergraduate students, a physics department conducted conference for postgraduate students, and lastly even as an external examiner of a Ph.D. candidate.
The college and it's staff have thoroughly impressed me with their dedication to spreading the access of knowledge, information, and relevant professional skill-sets at all levels of education ranging from middle school to doctoral programs. Their efforts are to be lauded with aplomb. This college sets a shining example for educational institutions throughout the nation. PSGR Krishnammal College is the ground where I grew my fledgling wings. A Degree course in my favorite discipline, Economics, was my dream. PSGR made it real and she holds a very special place in my heart. The faculty, Institution, and my friends and peers gave me immense opportunities to learn about myself and the world. PSGR is the foundation on which my academic and professional life was built. From late-night study sessions to collaborative projects, every moment at PSGR Krishnammal College contributed to my growth, not just academically but as an individual.
