Magical Shades is an initiative of students of GRGSMS to showcase their entrepreneurial skills. It is a campus company and serves as an experiential lab that enables students to experiment their business ideas. It offers a unique platform for the students to experience the business environment, analyze suppliers, understand consumer behaviour, manage financials, balance inventories, implement promotions, practice teamwork, implement strategies and develop business.

Magical Shades was inaugurated on 19 February 2016 by our Chairperson Dr Nandini Rangaswamy in presence of our Chief Mentor, Prof S Balasubramanian, Director, Dr P Sadhasivam and the faculty members of GRGSMS. Initially started by six partners with an investment of Rs.2, 40,000, Magical Shades today is a much sought after boutique in the campus that offers quality and trendy women’s’ clothing at competitive prices.

Magical Shades is an exclusive women’s clothing boutique in the campus that offers quality and trendy women’s clothing at competitive prices. It offers sarees, salwars, kurtis, leggings, jute bags, T shirts and accessories with uniqueness in product quality, choice and customization. Magical Shades slowly started expanding its business by adding new product lines. The extended products of magical shades are accessories which include nail polish, foot ware and ear rings. The customization and choice of products are purely based on market trends and needs of potential customers inside the campus.
