DBT STAR Status provided us with a keener insight into and a deeper appreciation of many facets of science. From this base, we will be able to pursue future specialisation with confidence.

We were able to carry out the experiments individually and also gained the confidence to handle and maintain the instruments.

The internships undertaken by us in various fields of biology facilitated the networking opportunities in work environments that will be relevant to future employment settings.

Resource persons invited to deliver special lectures has facilitated us to broaden our horizons in various fields of Life Sciences. The lectures also enriched us with the latest updates of the Industries and Technicalities.

Hands-on training in Statistical tools helped us to perform data analysis using MS Excel and Mobile Applications using Android phones (Statistics Calculator-DigiBird Techno Solutions, EpiCalc).

Faculty Feedback:

The workshops and training programme attended by faculty under the star college status have enriched the subject knowledge and also helped to design the curricula under the Outcome Based Education pattern.

SOP’s prepared by the faculty members for the practicals were achieved under the scheme.
