Vocational Programmes
The BVoc (Garment Designing) and BVoc (Beauty Therapy and Aesthetics) are two degree programmes offered under the vocational stream. These programmes were introduced under the University Grants Commission (UGC)’s new scheme of skills development based higher education in 2014. The aim is to integrate with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) in order to enhance an employability of the graduates.
Community College
The Community College in PSGRKCW was introduced in 2014 under the UGC’s new scheme of skills development based education. It offers a flexible and open education system and caters to community-based, life-long learning needs. It aims to equip students with skills required to pursue a wide range of career prospects in industry. The syllabus of the programme/course is designed also to provide the skills required by students to be successful entrepreneurs. Programmes offered under the Community College scheme are Garment Designing and Multimedia and Animation.
