LaTeX is the principal standard typesetting package for producing professional-quality Articles, Thesis, Books, PowerPoint Presentation (beamer) and other structured documents which involves mathematical symbols and equations, but can be used for any document in general. LaTeX provides a facility for pdf output which is platform independent and can be shared with other people who do not have LaTeX installed. This training is designed to instruct delegates on the principles of using LaTeX to design their own documents and presentations for a wide range of purposes.
