One week International Faculty Development Program on “Research breakthroughs
and Technological Developments in Life Sciences” is jointly organized by Department
of Botany, PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore, Sree Ayyappa College
for Women, Kanyakumari and Maharshi Dayanand University, Haryana in
collaboration with ICAR-Central Institute of Fresh Water Aquaculture, Orissa. This
programme emphasis to bring teaching, learning, experimenting, researching and
practicing communities together and provide a platform for imparting, sharing and
experimenting various developments in life sciences. International speakers will be Dr.
Patricio De Los Rios, Catholic University of Temuco, Chile, Shemily. P. John,
University College of Bahrain, Dr. Nayeem Mullungal, Qatar University and Dr. J.M.
Sasikumar, Haramaya University, Ethiopia. Many renowned speakers from ICAR-
Central Institute of Fresh Water Aquaculture, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Biotechnology,
Sastra University, MS University, Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram,
ICAR- National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Cochin, Madurai Kamaraj
University, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and Maharshi Dayanand University
will also be lecturing on the research breakthroughs in Life Science.
