COLLEGE EVENTS

Here are some of the notable annual events conducted on campus. These events have grown in popularity over the years.

Inauguration of Students Forum

The Students Forum of the college is the elected council of students who work towards enhancing the quality of student life by organising co-curricular activities and contribute to the educational mission of the college. The inauguration of the Students Forum takes place in the month of July every academic year.

Founders Day

The Founders Day of all the institutions under the GRG Trust is celebrated every year on the 19th of January to commemorate the birth anniversary of the visionary Founder, Sri. G.R. Govindarajulu.

Alumni Meet

The annual Alumni Meet – Purples Day Out – is organised by the PSGRKCW Alumni Association and is a hugely popular and joyous rendezvous that all the Alumnae look forward to.

GRGSMS Inter-Collegiate Meet

The annual Inter-Collegiate Meet – URJITH – organised by GRGSMS is one of the most popular events aimed at fostering a sense of camaraderie and team work among students of management. Urjith helps to bring out the best talents of the students in their knowledge, skills and aptitude.

KARISHMA

KARISHMA is the annual inter-collegiate cultural bonanza of PSGRKCW and provides a platform for students to display their artistic talents and disposition.

EVANZA

EVANZA is an inter-collegiate event that brings to the forefront the latest in the world of textiles and is organized by the Department of BVoc (Garment Designing) and BSc (Costume Design and Fashion) every year in the month of February.

GRADUATION AND CONVOCATION

The Graduation and Convocation Day is a memorable occasion and PSGRKCW strongly encourages all graduating students to attend and celebrate this milestone with family and friends.
