About the Association

To kindle the all-round development of the students, the Economics department has established Planning Forum Association. It conducts various events like Seminars, Workshop, Guest Lecture, Inter-Collegiate Competitions, Debate, Role Plays, Skit, Essay writing, Poster making, Slogan Writing etc for the students to exhibit their skill, creativity and knowledge.

Activities

Department of Economics organized a Guest Lecture on “Women Empowerment and Awareness on Protection of Women Rights” on 12-10-2018.
Students of Economics along with NSS visited “THE UNITED HOME FOR DISABLED PERSONS” on 01-10-2018 and helped them raise funds by posting nearly 2027 covers.
Department of Economics organized a NABARD Sponsored National Conference on “Integrated Water Resource Management – Prospects and Challenges” on 19 – 09 – 2018.
Department of Economics organized a Guest Lecture on “Inflation Dynamics and Monetary Policy ” on 11-09-2018 .
Department of Economics organized a Motivational Workshop on “ENTREPRENEURIAL DEVELOPMENT”on 31.08.2018.
Students of Economics and staff volunteered themselves along with NSS in Flood Relief Distribution at Palghat on August 25^th, 2018.
Our Economics department students along with NSS on August 2nd, 2018 conducted an Extension Programme on “Awareness of Health, Hygiene, Sanitation, Green Farming” at Vellanaipatti.
