Community Development programmes are offered by various departments in association with various Government and Non-Government Organisations. It is a mandatory service done by the students for 30 hours during their period of studies.
The extension activities such as tree plantation, Lake restoration, awareness on health support and hygiene, Swatch Bharath Abhyan, Seed ball making, Biodiversity Conservation, awareness on Good Touch and Bad Touch among school students, Personality development classes in Government Schools, Digital India Campaigns, Skill Training for Students and Rural women, home gardening, Managing Anemia and Malnutrition through Home Remedies, awareness on Post Office Savings Scheme, awareness on India Post Payment Bank Services, Conservation of Petroleum and LPG Gas have been organised in association withvarious Government Organisations like Petroleum Conservation Research Association, Post Office, Indian Overseas Bank, Canara Bank and various other Non – Government Organisations like Bhumi, Arram Foundation, Siruthuli, Lions Club, Environmentalist Foundation of India, EkalAbhyan, G-18 Trust, Keystone Foundation, Target Zero, Nature and Animal Conservancy, Aravanaikkum Anbu Ullam, Uttkullam Passana Vevasaya Sangam, Velliangiri Farmer Producers organization, Kriya Greens Organisation, Nilgiri Biosphere Nature Park, VER – NGO and Aalayam Foundation.
